Eastside

Eastside is the wealthy and prosperous district that contains the upper class, government and institutions of DisCity. Although the West District was originally the heart and soul of the city, after the DisSea Explosion, the west was ravaged by contamination and political and economic upheaval. At this time, Eastside built many anti-Mania devices, and it has been stable and prosperous ever since. In N.F. 99, the West District Order Management Regulations transferred all government institutions agencies to Eastside.

Eastside is the most populous and most developed region, not only in DisCity but the entire world. Economically, Eastside has a thriving domestic market with major industries including housing, finance and entertainment. Due to its monopoly over Hypercube ownership, thanks to the Nirvana corporation, Eastside also receives a continual influx of money from outside its borders. Although everybody in Eastside is not wealthy, the district's cultural life is awash with commercial advertisements, celebrity events, and more. Due to their familiarity with comfort and luxury, Eastside interests are piqued by what is daring and novel. Residents are often hostile to Syndicans and Sinners.

Eastside is kept safe by a sophisticated Mania monitoring network, which identifies Maniacs and banishes them to Syndicate. The FAC promptly responds to any detected Mania event, giving Eastside the reputation that it is totally free from Mania. However, in recent days, the number of Mania incidents in Eastside has been rising.

Eastside divided up into at least 14 districts, which presumably each elect a member of the City Council.
