Role
Events
Rain Burst
Segal does not appear directly, but manipulates Garofano into accepting contaminated power in exchange for attacking a list of high-ranking targets in Eastside, including Shalom.
Flora Unfurl
Segal strikes a deal with Coquelic, commissioning The Garden's Mentor to unearth the FAC conspiracy from the wake of the Eclipse Operation, prevent the approval of the Blockade Operation, and kill Shalom. In exchange, she uses her spatial sorcery to conceal the entrance to The Garden within an extradimensional space.
Much later, Segal flees through the Rust, wounded and hunted by the Hush unit. As she runs, she questions how Paradeisos has been able to track and hinder their movements with such precision, and realizes with horror that Paradeisos possesses abilities that far outstrip those of the Underground. She is stopped by Coquelic, who taunts her injuries and imminent death. Segal acerbically reminds Coquelic that despite being paid up front, Coquelic has failed to uphold her end of the deal and indeed has compromised the position of the entire Underground, but Coquelic flippantly kills her, reducing Segal’s body to contaminated mud. However, despite the destruction of her body, Segal’s consciousness lives on.
