Keylan Square is a location in the center of Syndicate, once a landmark of DisCity's industrial belt. Constructed in N.F. 33, it is the home of the former Keylan Exhibition Hall and the site of an enormous statue of Keylan, the scientist who invented or discovered the Hypercube and the founding father of DisCity. Keylan Square is the location of the gangs' yearly final battle for supremacy. In N.F. 112 the Square was chosen as the site of negotiations between the Public Security Bureau and The Legion to amend the West District Order Management Regulations, an event which led to BR-004 appearing in the Square.
The Statue of Keylan is Syndicate's most notable landmark. The enormous, 100 meter tall statue is hollow inside, with an elevator and spiral staircase that allows people to ascend to the top. Once grand, it is now an object of ridicule. It is a common joke in Syndicate to refer to the statue's baldness; Keylan himself was not bald, but half of the statue's head has been blown off, removing its hair and making its face indiscernible. The statue's body is covered by many layers of graffiti. The winner of Syndicate's annual gang war every summer paints their logo on the topmost point of the statue as a symbol of their dominance.
