General

▾ Ability Summary

The subject's body cells and nervous system have been influenced by both an unknown drug and her powers, so the muscles and connective tissues recover hundreds of thousand times faster than in a regular person, even massive damage can be healed within seconds.

▾ Awakening Signs

The passive awakening was induced by an unknown drug used during an unethical human experiment. Long-term effects are still to be observed.

▾ Corruption State

Owing to the subject's continuous self-healing function, no mental or physical corruption symptoms have been detected. The subject's corruption state cannot be determined with the currently available equipment.

▾ Criminal Record

Mainly active in the violent blocks of Syndicate and has a long list of criminal records, having been involved in various thefts and scams as well as several violent confrontations. Has a cunning and untamable character and the body bears marks of illegal modifications. The subject has the motive and ability to intentionally commit crimes and requires strict supervision.

▾ Criminal Record 2

As one of the first Sinners detained by the MBCC, the subject's behavioral issues often trouble Chief. But after spending much time together, Chief has realized that the subject was active in the violent neighborhood only to make a living. Ever since her detention, she no longer needs to worry for her livelihood and safety, so she's not as deadly as before. Moreover, the subject has a good rapport with everyone in the Bureau and has adjusted well to life in detention.

Arrest Record

▾ Arrest Record 1

Defeated during a gang shootout on the streets of Syndicate and separated from companions, the subject was arrested by the Bureau and later transferred to the MBCC when the Sinner identity came to light.

▾ Arrest Record 2

Investigation suggests that the subject's parents had records of illegal smuggling and were shot to death by an accomplice when the subject was seven years old. It's believed that the incident directly led to the subject's criminal tendency later in life.

▾ Arrest Record 3

The subject has a complicated and fickle job history and has been involved in a variety of crimes, including theft, scamming, and smuggling. The subject has also been a member of several gangs but never lasted long in any of them.

▾ Arrest Record 4

An experimental subject in the Laboratory of Parma, the subject escaped from the lab with Ninety-Nine's help and severely damaged the lab during the process. The subject lived with Ninety-Nine in Syndicate afterward and made a living by doing illegal deeds. The two of them were later separated during a violent confrontation.

Interrogation

▾ Interrogation 1

When the Chief enters the room, Hella notes that this is their first time interrogating a prisoner. They read out her criminal record and ask about the evidence of human experimentation that made Hella into a Sinner, but she refuses to answer any questions. Her anger boils over, and Hella yells that if she knew the Chief would lock her up and question her like this, she would never have fought and taken hits for them. The Chief realizes that she had been hoping that they would be different from the previous people who had arrested her, and they apologize and offer to undo her handcuffs, saying that after what they had been through together, the two of them should be more like friends. Hella's anger is ameliorated, but she insists that she doesn't need friends. As a child, gangs would use her as a patsy to escape the Public Security Bureau, and she thought that by doing this for them she could eventually become their friend -- but she has learned better since her so-called friends sold her to PARMA for beer money. There she was experimented on until she awakened as a Sinner, but the researchers were not interested in her regenerative powers. From that point forward, she was used as a punching bag for PARMA's experiments with Ninety-Nine. Still, Hella is proud of the fact that she was able to escape from PARMA after less than a year of being confined there, and happy that her newfound ability made it easy for her to survive back on the streets of Syndicate.

The Chief checks Hella's criminal record again and notes that when she reappeared after her absence, she was accompanied by Ninety-Nine. They make the connection between this new friend and the monster who hurt her so frequently while at PARMA, but Hella shuts down again at this line of questioning. The Chief assures her that they aren't trying to catch Ninety-Nine and just want to keep Hella from being hurt again, but she retorts that the Chief should have kept treating her like a criminal, and that the two of them could never be friends as long as the Chief is constraining her with the Shackles.

You discovered several reports about Hella from multiple investigation cases.
One of the reports shows that she has a close connection with a test subject in the Laboratory of Parma.
It turns out that you are right about Hella. She cares about this subject and even calls her a "friend".

▾ Interrogation 2

[Accessible only after Ninety-Nine's Interrogation]

Shortly after the Chief saves Ninety-Nine from execution, Hella escapes from the MBCC, her cell door pushed in by Ninety-Nine -- however, Ninety-Nine herself remains at the Bureau, waiting in Hella's cell. The Chief sends Nightingale to a set of coordinates to recover Hella, then asks Ninety-Nine what Hella is doing. She gives them a taunting note from Hella, and the Chief sets off alone, following the Shackles to where Hella is hiding out -- having intentionally sent Nightingale in the wrong direction. Hella bluffs that she was trying to run away from DisCity, but she easily acquiesces to returning to the Bureau, at least temporarily. The Chief asks if this means that they're now friends, and Hella reluctantly thanks them for helping Ninety-Nine.

The fact that Ninety-Nine didn't escape together shows Hella didn't really want to run.
She intentionally left behind a message so you would go after her, probably just trying to show you some parts of her "true" self.
Maybe she has recognized you as one of her "friends".

Serving Term

▾ Serving Term 1

Upset about her personal failure during a group escape attempt, the subject initiated several more escape attempts alone within a short time. The attempts to force promotion with her powers all resulted in failures and the subject was imprisoned again.

▾ Serving Term 2

The subject's weapon is a steel water pipe removed from the Bureau when it got attacked. When the incident was over, the subject refused the Bureau's offer to provide a standardized weapon and continued to take part in multiple Black Ring missions using this item. The subject claims that "it just feels handy."

▾ Serving Term 3

Enjoys provoking other Sinners and uses extremely offensive language. The subject has been attacked by other Sinners, but no irreversible damage has been done thanks to her extraordinary recovery ability. Such a unique socializing style has given the subject a bad name, but the subject still manages to keep quite a few friends.

▾ Serving Term 4

Feeling inferior for not having received much education, the subject has begun learning to read with the Chief's help and has been making speedy progress. Lately, the subject is hooked on messaging the Chief with poorly spelled texts.

▾ Serving Term 5

During her training expedition to the farlands, the subject made direct contact with BR005's ground zero, causing her Mania levels to exceed normal values. This led to a secondary intensification of the infection within her body, transforming her into a Scourge Sinner.

Emotion Check

▾ Emotion Check 1

[Having finished her mission, Hella lies on the floor in your office.]

Hella: Ah, have you prepared any rewards for me? I hope it's DisCoins.

• Prompt: What about the snacks from the Supply Office? This is all I have.
• Hella: Hehe. Now that's more like it. Be sure to bring more next time.
• Hella: 😘😘😘

• Prompt: No. But I might think about it when you've finished the mission.
• Hella: Huh? You are arrogant for a Bureau Chief. Don't you dare go back on your words once the mission is complete!
• Hella: 😐

▾ Emotion Check 2

[Hella looks surprised when she sees you.]

Hella: Tsk. Did Ninety-Nine tell you I was hiding here?

• Prompt: That's right. She told me about it.
• Hella: Stop lying! Ninety-Nine will never betray me.
• Hella: 😥😥

• Prompt: I found you myself.
• Hella: Humph. You are... kind of impressive.
• Hella: 😉😉

▾ Emotion Check 3

[You find a voicemail from Hella in your inbox.]

Hella: Hey, dummy! Guess where I am right now?

• Prompt: [Add new contact: Hella Device No.3]
• Hella: Forget it, you wouldn't know where it is anyway. Don't tell Hecate, but I'll be back in three days!
• Hella: 😉

• Prompt: [Add to favorites]
• Hella: I'm in WhiteSands! After leaving Tuco, I've run into many strange things. Once I sort everything out, I'll come back to see you! Wait for me, okay?
• Hella: 😘

Supervision Event

▾ Supervision Event 1

⚠ Ambassador of Civility

The tryout for the Ambassador of Civility begins again. Who will become Minos' Ambassador of Civility this time?

System Notifications: The Bureau participated in the event where the Ambassador of Civility was elected. Hella received far more votes than anyone else. You didn't understand this at first, but after you heard those "civil" expressions from Hella's speech, you realized something.

• Prompt: It is indeed civilized.

▾ Supervision Event 2

⚠ Bills

Hella accidentally broke the training equipment while she was training.

System Notifications: Hella hasn't paid for the equipment she damaged. After asking some questions, you realized she had put that amount on Ninety-Nine's bill so that she would have to pay for both of them.

• Prompt: Ask Ninety-Nine for the money

▾ Supervision Event 3

⚠ Rejoicing Too Soon

In the regular physical examination, you discovered that Hella is now one centimeter taller than her profile says.

System Notifications: The physical examination showed that Hella was 153cm in height. She felt excited until she realized every Sinner got 1cm taller. Perhaps it's just the equipment malfunctioning.

• Prompt: Check and repair the stadiometer

Hella: I'll give you some money. Could you buy me a machine that's just for me?

▾ Supervision Event 4

⚠ The Desire to Win

Hella finds you, holding a joystick in her hand and yelling.

System Notifications: Hella has been living in the Recreation Area these few days. Clenching a joystick in her hand and feeling mad, she will not stop until she breaks EMP's record.

• Prompt: Encourage her

Chief: Well, best of luck to you. But don't forget to pay the fee.

System Notifications: Mad, Hella takes out some of her nest egg.

▾ Supervision Event 5

⚠⚠ Preserve Public Properties

You received a bill from the maintenance department. It is no small amount.

System Notifications: The maintenance department has been visiting the Bureau quite often lately.

Chief: Hella, would you like to consider changing to a more serious weapon?

Hella: Why? I think this water pipe is very handy.

Chief: In that case... Would you like to consider using a stick?

Chief: Something like K.K.'s weapon. Better quality. Stronger durability.

Hella: Humph! I don't want to! Are you taking away my freedom to select a weapon of my choice now?

Hella: Do Sinners even have basic rights?!

Chief: You know that's not what I meant...

Hella: Then what do you mean? Why must you insist that I change my weapon?

Chief: ...

Chief: You can always file a request to change your broken weapon. I just hope that you won't tear down any more water pipes in our Bureau...

Chief: The maintenance department has been here seven times to repair the water pipe this month alone.

Hella: Ha. What about it? The MBCC can't even afford to repair water pipes? Guess it's finally going broke.

• Prompt: The budget is indeed limited.
• Prompt: We should all take care of our public properties.

▾ Supervision Event 6

⚠⚠ Step By Step

Hella seems to be interested in reading books in the Recreation Area.

System Notifications: Warning! Hella the Sinner is likely going to damage public properties intentionally. Proceed to intercept now.

Hella: Aaahhh! This is so annoying! Damn this book!

• Prompt: Calm down.
• Prompt: We can talk about this.

Chief: Don't tear the book!

Hella: Chief, you are such a liar! I thought you said my reading skill was improving fast.

Hella: Explain to me why I cannot understand a word in this book!

Chief: What book are you reading?

Hella: See for yourself!

System Notifications: You pieced together the torn pages and saw the name of the book is The Comparative Analysis of the Dis Language and Mysterious Stele Writings.

Chief: ...No matter what you do, you need to do it step by step, including reading.

Chief: This book is too difficult for beginners to understand.

Chief: What about... you start from this illustration book?

Hella: Get lost!!

Hella: I'm not reading that. It's for children!

▾ Supervision Event 7

⚠⚠ Street Smarts

Hella helps other Sinners solve their various problems.

System Notifications: Hella has three new demerits this week.

Chief: Hella, you have three new demerits this week. They're for damaging a vending machine, fighting, and... hacking the wifi router?

Hella: Hey, don't be blinded by the rules. I did all of them for good reasons, alright?

Hella: I did NOT damage the vending machine! I only gave it a slight kick to help the other Sinners get their drinks!

Hella: They already paid. Why didn't that ***** machine give them their drinks?!

Hella: And I never fought anyone. I saw someone bullying a new Sinner and I couldn't just stand back and watch!

Hella: It's a purely heroic act of justice!

Hella: Can you blame me for hacking the wifi router? Which idiot made the password so simple?

Hella:** 123456... Only the dumbest idiots use this kind of password!

• Prompt: I set the password.

Hella: Oh, did you? Come to think of it, it's pretty awesome... Very easy to remember, hehe.

• Prompt: I'll let it slide this time.

Hella: Yay!

▾ Supervision Event 8

⚠⚠ Woolen Hats

Feeling distressed, you ran into Hella.

System Notifications: You snuck a break and went to the Outdoor Activity Area where you ran into Hella.

Hella: Chief, I haven't seen you for a while.

Hella: Is it because it's almost the end of the year and Nightingale is asking you to write reports?

Chief: ...Don't get me started.

Chief: It's giving me a headache.

Hella: Here. This is for you. It's the same woolen hat as mine.

Chief: Why are you giving me this?

Hella: I heard you had been hard at work writing the year-end report, so much so that you were losing hair.

Hella: I just thought this hat could keep your head warm.

• Prompt: ...
• Prompt: I thank you.

Hella: Hey, what's that look on your face supposed to be?

Hella: Humph. Fine. If you don't want to wear it, don't. You gave away my heart.

▾ Supervision Event 9

⚠⚠⚠ Hella's Gift

Hella has been frequenting the black market recently.

System Notifications: Warning, Sinner Hella is found to have been frequenting the black market and suspected to have purchased forbidden items. Summon Sinner?

Hella: Hi, Chief. You're looking for me again... Did you miss me?

Hella: Okay, okay, I'll stop joking. What's the matter this time?

• Prompt: Tell her

Hella: WHAT? Which ***** rat told on me?! I'm gonna catch you! Am I not allowed to buy stuff with my own hard-earned money now? *****!

• Prompt: Explain to her

System Notifications: Hella produces a bag and pours everything inside out on your desk.

Hella: Here. Confiscate all of them. These are gifts I bought for Ninety-Nine. I guess those ****** in the Bureau can have them for their * now!

• Prompt: What did you buy for Ninety-Nine?

System Notifications: At the mention of Ninety-Nine, Hella calms down a little.

Hella: Humph... I'm still deciding between two gifts. One is a quick ice pack that may help Ninety-Nine calm down when she goes berserk. The other is a bulk pack of band-aids for whenever she hurts herself.

Hella: Which one do you think I should give her? You nosy, busybody Chief?

• Prompt: Both.
• Hella: That's right! Both are useful for Ninety-Nine. I should just give her both.
• Hella: You know, you're kinda smart, Chief.
• Hella: By the way, I also have a gift for you. Since you've already seen it, I'll give it to you now.
• System Notifications: Hella places a sleep mask on your desk.
• Hella: When you're sleepy, put this on and take a nap. You have so many things to worry about every day, if you collapse from overworking, who's gonna take care of us Sinners?
• Chief: Thank you.

• Prompt: Neither is the best gift
• Hella: Humph! It's not like I don't already know it! If those were perfectly suitable gifts, I'd have already given them out!
• Hella: But they could still be useful somehow. I guess I'll just give her both.
• Hella: Here, this is for you. I accidentally bought an extra one. You can have it.
• System Notifications: Hella throws a sleep mask on your desk.
• Hella: Put this on and take a nap when you feel sleepy. You're so busy every day, I'm worried you may die from overwork.
• Chief: Thank you.

▾ Supervision Event 10

⚠⚠⚠ Lucky Hat

You seem to be seeing Hella in different parts of the Bureau today.

System Notifications: You meet Hella in the Bureau's corridor. This seems to be the fifth time you've run into her today.

• Prompt: Express surprise

Chief: Hella, why do I keep running into you?

Hella: Oi! Chief, are you too old to see straight? This is the first time we've seen each other today.

System Notifications: At this moment, another Hella passes by the two of you.

Hella: Hehe, I get it now. Are you mistaking everyone wearing my beanie for me?

• Prompt: Beanie?

Hella: Hehe, ever since Stargazer said my beanie was a lucky beanie that could bring good luck, it's become a trendy item all of a sudden!

Hella: You see, everyone in the Bureau is wearing the same beanie as mine now, and I've seized the chance to earn a small sum.

Hella: But of course, the effect can't be as good as the original lucky beanie owned by me.

Hella: What do you think? You want one too, Chief?

• Prompt: Agree
• Hella: Hmm... It actually suits you. It even makes you look kinda cute, not as cute as the super most pretty Hella though!
• Hella: Awesome! Now that you're endorsing it too, my beanie will only get even more popular!
• Hella: Soon, the whole Bureau will be wearing Hella's beanies!
• System Notifications: It gives you a headache just thinking about it.

• Prompt: Reject
• Hella: Humph! No! You must buy one. Here. I'm gonna put it on for you... The beanie will be 500 DisCoins, plus a service charge of 150 DisCoins, thank you!
• Hella: Awesome! Now that you're endorsing it too, my beanie will only get even more popular!
• Hella: Soon, the whole Bureau will be wearing Hella's beanies!
• System Notifications: It gives you a headache just thinking about it.
