General
▾ Ability Summary
Capable of transmuting an object by touch, the subject can convert a parasol into a tough weapon by turning its cover into the alloy constituting its handle, as well as harden various materials and fire them as bullets.
▾ Awakening Signs
When the subject witnessed her first ever Syndican gang fight, she was attacked by a Mania weapon and got infected with Mania. During the subsequent clash, the subject's strong desire to protect her family and resistance to the unfolding events triggered the awakening of her power.
▾ Corruption State
The subject's level of corruption is low and her physical features are no different from that of a normal person. However, her mental state is unstable, often showing abnormal tendencies such as impulsiveness and overreaction.
▾ Criminal Record
The heir to a Syndican gang involved in numerous shootouts there and entangled with various gang factions. The subject's suspected of dabbling in the underground circulation of Mania weapons and hence poses a significant threat. Immediate detention is recommended.
▾ Criminal Record 2
It has now been confirmed that the subject's gang was not involved in the circulation of Mania weapons. Her awakening was triggered by forced contact with Mania due to an attack, not out of her own volition. Kind and innocent in nature, the subject got involved in street brawls to protect her family. Under the Bureau's rehabilitation and supervision, she is confirmed to no longer be a threat.
Arrest Record
▾ Arrest Record 1
While hiding in a residential home in Syndicate, the subject issued a bounty on the dark web for an intel-gathering job. Her identity as a Sinner was exposed following her contact with Chief. The subject was then detained by Chief after the MBCC Chief Kidnapping Case.
▾ Arrest Record 2
The subject was born into the Iron Gang, a medium-sized Syndican gang led by her mother. Kept isolated deliberately by her parents, she's only acquired basic self-defense skills as the heir and is still unaware of the dangerous situation she's in.
▾ Arrest Record 3
The subject's special power is coveted by all the gangs and the Iron Gang is often besieged by massive attacks consequentially. To avoid burdening her family, the subject has left the gang of her own accord and strives to present herself as a lady to dissociate herself from the underworld and sever ties with her past.
▾ Arrest Record 4
The Iron Gang was initially established around debt collection businesses. The subject once openly surrendered during a gang clash, which led to the MBCC being mistakenly regarded as her backing force. The other gangs' wariness has since favored the Iron Gang's development.
Serving Term
▾ Serving Term 1
The subject has a deep bond with her family. When she missed home during her early days of detention, she would call her family discreetly and hang up quietly as soon as they answered just to confirm their safety.
▾ Serving Term 2
The subject is a loyal fan of DeadLover Radio and enjoys listening to sensational stories. She takes the host's exaggerated remarks a little too seriously and even imitates her.
▾ Serving Term 3
With her poor acting skills, the subject can't maintain her ladylike image for more than a few hours, often becoming irritated after repeatedly having to hold back on swearing and eventually revealing her true nature. Many Syndican Sinners get along with the subject and commend her for taking the blame after collaborative mischief.
▾ Serving Term 4
The subject is keen on studying ladylike looks in TV dramas, often seeking Chief's opinions on outfit ideas. If an outfit receives praise from Chief, the subject will wear it without hesitation and refuses to take it off even when her taste gets questioned by the artistic Sinners.
Emotion Check
▾ Emotion Check 1
[Golan is glued to her terminal, reading the posts on an MBCC intranet forum.]
Golan: Ah, so-and-so and so-and-so are sworn brothers, and so-and-so and so-and-so don't see eye to eye. Here comes a big one: Chief had a thing for that beautiful lady sent by the forces of evil...
Chief: ......
• Prompt: Don't tell me you actually believe this ridiculous piece of gossip?
• Golan: What?! It's fake news? Damn it, I made a donation to that poster. Wait a minute! I remember DeadLover Radio broadcast something in a similar vein. Could these two sources be wrong at the same time?
• Golan: 😫😫😫
• Prompt: I have no idea what you're talking about.
• Golan: Ha! You're hiding something. You did fall for her, didn't you? Come on, spill it out! Were you madly in love with each other? And when you went your separate ways, you swore never to fall in love ever again?
• Golan: 😘😘😘
▾ Emotion Check 2
[Golan drools over the expensive limited-edition plush accessory listed in Faye's product catalog.]
Golan: Damn it, money is short! I can't hire myself out as a henchman. That's not allowed around here. So how am I going to swindle... no, make some money? Ha, I've got it! I can be an information broker!
Chief: ......
• Prompt: Are you going to sell stories about love-hate relationships where the truth is unknown?
• Golan: Isn't that the nature of information brokering? I provide the information; you pay for it. Whether it's true or false, that's beyond my control. But rest assured, I won't lie to you intentionally, and if it happens unintentionally, well... there's nothing I can do about that.
• Golan: 😘😘😘
• Prompt: Are you going to sell well-thought-out reports on current events?
• Golan: That sounds like a premium product to me. I don't sell that kind of stuff. N-Not because I can't, but because no information broker in their right mind would take on such a thankless job.
• Golan: 😫😫😫

⚠ A Runaway
In a fit of rage, Golan storms out of the Bureau.
System Notifications: After being told by some of the staff that the color of her sash bow clashes with that of her dress, Golan declares she'll leave the Bureau and storms off. According to the surveillance cameras, she lingers just outside the perimeter walls until late at night before returning to the detention area.
• Prompt: Leave her alone for a while
▾ Supervision Event 2
⚠ An Honorable Thief
The cafeteria's snacks are gone.
System Notifications: The snack cabinet was raided last night. An investigation is conducted. Nino, Hella, and EMP, all looking shifty, sneak away during the investigation, while Golan stays put, confessing that she ate three chicken legs and five bags of potato chips, and drank seven bottles of milk tea.
• Prompt: Reprimand them
▾ Supervision Event 3
⚠ Tales of Yesteryear
The hypnotherapist sends you a message.
System Notifications: During therapy sessions, Golan has a habit of telling her therapist fictitious tales about her past, a habit that greatly undermines the effectiveness of the sessions.
• Prompt: Be patient; don't expose her just yet
▾ Supervision Event 4
⚠⚠ A Glamorous Picnic
Golan is overdressed for a Bureau picnic.
System Notifications: The Bureau has organized a picnic. You arrive at the appointed location ahead of time to make sure everything is in order, only to find you're not the first one to arrive.
Golan: **! This outfit is so uncomfortable!
System Notifications:** Golan is standing with her back to you, straightening her clothes. She's dressed differently today, in a resplendent dress with a long train and a wide-brimmed hat.
• Prompt: Greet
Chief: Golan?
Golan: Ah, Chief!
Chief: You're all dressed up. What for?
Golan: For the picnic. Why else? Aren't people supposed to be dressed to the nines for picnics around here?
Chief: Picnics must be a big deal in Syndicate, yes?
Golan: Yes. And I heard it on DeadLover Radio: In Syndicate, formal attire should be worn for a picnic!
Golan: Wearing your best dress, eating desserts, drinking tea, engaging in conversation—these are key components of a normal picnic.
Chief: Which episode of DeadLover Radio are you talking about?
Golan: Crack Dress Codes: How to Dress for Social Media Success
System Notifications: Noticing the persistent frown on your face, Golan seems to realize that something is off.
Golan: What's with that expression?
Golan: Wait a second. Why are you wearing the Bureau uniform?!
• Prompt: Tease her
Chief: It was an oversight. I'll go change now. You wait here for the others.
System Notifications: You turn around to leave, but before you can walk a few meters away, Golan catches up with you and stops you.
Golan: Hey, could you please stop for a second? Here is the thing. I've... I've never participated in an ordinary activity like this before.
Golan: I demand... I hope you can tell me what kind of clothes people usually wear to such activities.
Chief: Just the regular kind.
Chief: The picnic is not for another half an hour. Go get changed now, and you'll be back here in time for the event, I'm sure.
System Notifications: Golan mimes zipping her lips while staring at you, her way of telling you not to breathe a word. Then she hitches up the skirts of her dress and runs back to her room.
▾ Supervision Event 5
⚠⚠ An Unarguable Recap
To improve her odds of winning her next argument with Hella, Golan becomes a fervent writer.
System Notifications: It's a new day. In the library, Golan sits hunched over a notebook. She is writing away on it, a solemn expression on her face.
It's rare to see her in the library, and even rarer to see her studying hard in the library.
• Prompt: Ask about Golan's studies
Chief: Golan, what are you studying?
System Notifications: She hastily covers up her notebook, but you still catch a glimpse of what looks to be a written dialogue.
Golan: Nothing. It's nothing. It's for my eyes only!
System Notifications:
Hella: **
Me:
Hella:
Me: Right back at you! (She's really good at this, so I had to bring out the big guns.)
Hella: Ineffective comeback.
Chief: ...What was that?!
System Notifications: Golan looks a bit embarrassed, and then answers you in a lowered voice.
Golan: It's a recap of my argument with Hella...
Chief: You two argued again?
Golan: She started it! And Mess, that little ... (Coughs) She made it worse.
Golan:** I'm making this recap to find out where I didn't perform well in the latest argument, so I can beat Hella in the next argument.
• Prompt: Will it work?
Golan: Of course it will! I've thought of a killer comeback for what Hella said.
▾ Supervision Event 6
⚠⚠⚠ An Ordinary Sinner
Golan is often seen staring at other Sinners with an unnerving intensity.
System Notifications: You've received multiple complaints from the staff against Golan. According to these complaints, Golan has the peculiar habit of standing in the corner of this or that common area at the Bureau and staring at other Sinners with an unnerving intensity.
• Prompt: Find Golan
System Notifications: When you find Golan, she is standing in the corner of the cafeteria, an intense look in her eyes.
Chief: What are you doing here?
Golan: Just... standing.
Chief: Yesterday, you were standing in the corner of the Recreation Area. The day before yesterday, you were standing in the corner of the Training Room.
Chief: Is this a new hobby of yours, standing in corners for long periods of time?
Golan: You're following me?!
Chief: You're too out there.
System Notifications: Golan's face turns red.
Chief: Now, tell me what you're really up to.
Golan: I'm trying to find out how ordinary Sinners live their lives.
Chief: Ordinary Sinners?
Golan: I don't have to pretend to be a normal person anymore. I'm embracing my identity as a Sinner.
Golan: But I don't know what an ordinary Sinner is supposed to be like...
Golan: These past few days, I've been observing the other Sinners. I'm more confused now than I was a few days ago. Everyone is different; I don't know who to imitate...
• Prompt: Just be yourself.
Chief: You don't need to imitate anyone. Just be yourself. Here at the Bureau, Sinners and non-Sinners are treated the same.
Golan: Huh?! What the... The thing you just said...
Golan: D-Did you really mean it?
• Prompt: Compliment her on her competence as a Sinner
• Chief: I did. Everyone at the Bureau knows how good a fighter you are. Just remember, everyone here has their own unordinary abilities.
• Golan: I see... I am a normal person, just like everybody else. And me being a Sinner doesn't change that fact.
• Prompt: Compliment her on how well-adjusted she is
• Chief: You get on well with both the staff and the other Sinners. Everyone likes you. The way I see it, you've fully integrated into the life here.
• Chief: I'm surprised that you don't feel like an ordinary Sinner.
• Golan: You are? Hmm, arguing, eating, training... The other Sinners do these things too.
